Also - sorry for Tumblr Spam, I am really fucking bored.

Day 12: How You Found Out About Tumblr and Why You Made One.

I found out about it through my friend deniz. Her tumblelog is collegebite.tumblr.com but as far as I know she has not posted anything yet. She told me that it would be where she was going to put all of her recipes.

I am a big fan of blogging but I had not heard of tumblr. I have used blogger, greatestjournal, livejournal, and a few other clients which have now died to the Internet (greatestjournal included). Livejournal was good, but behind the times, I guess.

I’ve been a blogger since I was in 6th grade - that would be…nearly 9 years now. I love doing it and I like Tumblr quite a bit.

I wish we had optional icons as I miss using LJ icons but I love, love, loveeee the Tumblr layout and ability for multiple blogs, compatibility on mobile devices and more.

I have my Study Abroad Tumblelog on here and others.

I am hoping to see some development into communities or for making figuring those out Easier - similar to LJ.

Day 9. Something You Are Proud Of From The Past Few Days.

That my mom and I did not stab eachother with steak knives. I cannot wait to be in Japan. Moving in here is going to have hellish fights with her.

Oh, and that I was not the one that hung up, that I was the one hung up on.

Day 8. Short Term Goals For This Month.

Eatting well.
Learning/working hard on Japanese.
Helping my mom with moving/not fighting with her about everything.
Being cleanly and neat.
Trying not to be so negative about myself.
Keeping in touch with mister Scott.

Some of these are short term goals some of them are more long term. I would say they’re fairly self-explanatory though.

As for a habit - laziness. You wouldn’t consider it one but I think it can become one. No more laziness for Hallie!!!

Day 2. The Meaning of Your Tumblr

Oh dear. Well, this is “inliminality”. The title comes from one of the best anime I have ever seen “.hack//liminality” which is where I learned of the word.

The meaning is basically “the middle” of something. In the case of the anime - it was the cross between reality and between “The World” video game in .hack//.

In my experience, several people have told me that I am somewhat of a paradox because I consider everything and never really make an opinion, I am often “in the middle”.

There is the other matter - that if you know me well, you will know I will struggle often with place and have often felt very “in the middle” on things or “a bit of both” in a lot of places that people tend to be very one way or very the other.

All in all it is a very cool word.
